Amity — A Jaws-Inspired Candle
This candle takes you to Amity Island. It smells like the water off a New England beach town in the summer of 1975, back when nobody wanted to go swimming. Cold ocean, a fishing boat running past the buoys, warm sand, and a fire burning down on the beach after dark. If you love Jaws, this one is for you.
Just like all of the movie-inspired scents I create, Amity is a competely original scent profile that you will not find anywhere else. I personally develop these scents by hand in my Hollywood workshop, and every one is completely unique. Every candle I make is inspired by a different movie, and my goal with each one is to put you inside the film for as long as it burns.

It opens cold and briny, like ocean water you can't see the bottom of. Then the smoking boat engine comes through, that greasy diesel smell of the Orca chugging out to deeper water where it probably shouldn't be. Warm sand dunes sit underneath the whole thing and keep it grounded. A subtle beachside bonfire smolders at the finish, the kind of fire people light once they're too scared to get back in the water. The whole scent moves the way the movie does. It starts at the shoreline and ends somewhere darker.
